A Tribute to Ray Ware Jr.

Ray Ware, Jr. had many passions; he loved to play baseball, coach kid's sports, duck hunt, and most of all- work with his dog, "Boomer".  His infectious smile and laugh could cheer anyone up. But his life was cut short when he passed away on June 2nd, 2009 from a heart attack at the young age of 40.  He was not only a client of ours, but a dear friend. "Boomer", and the Best Retrievers family will miss him greatly. In his honor, "Boomer" will continue his training with us and we will finish Ray's dream to achieve Boomer's Master Hunter title. God bless you, Ray.

***Update- January 2010***

Boomer continued his training through the Fall of 2009 and has progressed rapidly.  His enthusiasm is endless and he has a wonderful training attitude.  He is currently doing hand signals and marking multiples.  He will be ready to run AKC Senior and HRC Seasoned this Spring.  As a reward for his hard work; Rody took him on a duck hunt on January 13th, 2010.  He was intense to say the least!  Below are a couple of pictures:
